JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Junior Kiira Riihijarvi continued her dominance with another first-place finish as the University of Tampa women’s golf team finished second overall at the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate Tournament.

• This marks the third individual title for Riihijarvi this season as she also won the RMAC Fall Preview and Saint Leo Invitational.
• The first-place finish is the fifth of Riihijarvi’s three-year collegiate career.
• Riihijarvi was the top Spartan in both rounds with scores of 70 and 73.
• Montagnino, a freshman, finished second on the team for the first time of her career. Her first-round 75 was a personal best.
• Head coach Missey Jones did not register any individuals.
• A total of 15 teams competed.
• This marks the final tournament of the fall season for the Spartans.
• UT was the lone team from the Sunshine State Conference to compete in the tournament.

With the fall season complete, Tampa opens the spring on February 3-4 at the Flagler World Invitational. The tournament will be played at Slammer & Squire Golf Course in St. Augustine, Fla.
