Spartans Finish Fall With Eighth-Place Finish at McDonough Cup

ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s golf team finished its fall season with an eighth-place effort at the McDonough Cup.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Barnes was the top Spartan golfer for the first time this season.
- The top round by a UT player was a 70 by Barnes in Monday’s opening round.
- Three individuals competed for Tampa, including Patrick Montagnino (60th, 231), Unai Beitia (86th, 238) and Nick DiMarco (92nd, 242).
- A total of 18 teams competed.
- Jordan Doull of Columbus State was the medalist with a 211.
- This marks the final tournament of the fall for Tampa.
- Joining UT and host/team champion Rollins from the Sunshine State Conference was Palm Beach Atlantic (12th), Embry-Riddle (15th) and Eckerd (17th).
