NCAA Golf Championships Heads to Final Day With Kiira Riihijarvi in Top-Five

HOUSTON – University of Tampa women’s golfer Kiira Riihijarvi ended day three of the 2018 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships in a fifth-place tie, moving up five spots from the mid-way point on Thursday.
Competing against the nation’s top golfers, the sophomore finished with a 73 after previously notching rounds of 69 and 77. She is currently +3 overall with a three-round score of 219. Katharina Keilich from Indianapolis in first at -2.
On day two, Riihijarvi scored a par-or-better on 13 of the 18. She also turned in birdies on five holes.
Day four of the championships will take place on Saturday at Bay Oaks Country Club. This marks the final round of the championships.
