MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The University of Tampa men’s cross country team traveled to the Bobcat Invitational and finished fifth overall in its final regular-season event.

• After finishing second among Spartans in three races, Roberts was the top Spartan for the first time in 2018.
• A total of 18 teams competed.
• Also competing for Tampa were Devon Sullivan (35th, 26:33) and Sean Popik (45th, 26:45).
• The Spartans were the lone Sunshine State Conference school to compete.

Tampa now turns its focus on the postseason for the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Saturday, November 3. Embry-Riddle will host the race at its soccer stadium with the men’s event set to start at 7:45 a.m.
