TAMPA, FL –Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Mindi M. Richter received the 2020 Volunteer of the Year award at the Regions Community Impact Dinner for the Tampa YMCA and her work with The First Tee of Tampa Bay. Mindi is a member of The First Tee of Tampa Bay, Advisory Board and Board of Directors; a nonprofit whose mission is to impact local youth by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy habits through the game of golf. 

“I volunteer for the Y, and particularly First Tee, because being a part of our growing chapter and seeing first-hand what the game of golf, and the life skills it helps to teach, do for the children in our community is very exciting and rewarding,” Mindi said. 

Mindi is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Intellectual Property Law Specialist.
