Watson Clinic Announces Employee Furlough

Lakeland, FL – Watson Clinic has announced they will be making staffing changes based on Governor Ron DeSantis’ Executive Order 20-72, released Friday, March 20, regarding non-urgent elective medical procedures.
Effective Monday, March 23, some employees were faced with reduced working hours and others were placed on a furlough. During this time, employees placed on furlough will receive two weeks pay and then will be given the option of using their paid time off.
Watson Clinic is doing everything in their power to keep as many employees employed during this COVID-19 crisis and will continue to see patients at all their locations. All unnecessary, non-urgent or non-emergency procedures or surgeries will be placed on hold until further notice.
