University Area CDC Offers Prodigy Online Tutorials
[ad_1]
Tampa, Fla. – Prodigy® Cultural Arts, a University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) program, is offering free online tutorials in response to the COVID 19 outbreak. In-person Prodigy® classes spanning all areas of the arts, normally taught across the region, temporarily have been suspended until further notice.
“During these challenging times, we have pivoted our operations to meet the needs of our youth and families by providing virtual Prodigy programming. The videos, tutorials and even live demonstrations are taught by our professional artists and serve as a means to connect with our participants and to bring some positive energy and encouragement to their lives,” said Mike Trepper, Prodigy® director.
Realizing the importance that University Area CDC programs play in the lives of many of the area’s residents, the organization has developed, and continues to develop, online tutorials to help ease the burden through this uncertain time.
Prodigy® Cultural Arts Program instructors have developed video tutorials on the following topics: life skills, painting, drawing, dancing, bass guitar, the shaker and more. They are all available at uacdc.org/prodigyonline. More Prodigy® videos are being developed on a variety of subjects, and will be added weekly.
University Area CDC is developing Get Moving! exercise videos as well, free for the public, which will be posted in links soon to be provided at uacdc.org/getmovingonline. (NEW)
