TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women’s lacrosse team has announced its open tryout for Saturday, September 15 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex. This will be the only tryout for the women’s lacrosse team in the 2018-19 school year, and is limited to students enrolled full-time at UT in the fall semester.
This will be the only tryout date offered for UT students in the Fall and Spring semesters. The tryout will now be held at the Naimoli Complex, which is located on Kennedy Blvd.
All students need to have a copy of their UT Spartan Card and they MUST have a copy of a physical dated within 6 months of the tryout date. If it is not in this time frame, you will not be permitted to tryout due to NCAA rules. Students must drop off the required documentation to Rob Fiedler – Assistant AD for Compliance in Martinez Athletic Center (125) no later than Friday, September 14 at 2 p.m. Students will also need to sign a sickle cell waiver and assumption of risk form when dropping off the required paperwork.
Without proof of a 2018 Fall semester UT Spartan Card, copy of physical taken within 6 months of the tryout and completed sickle cell waiver and assumption of risk forms – you cannot participate in the tryout.
Players will need to bring proper equipment and arrive at the field 15 minutes prior to the announced tryout time. Reminder, this is the only tryout date for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters and is for full-time Fall 2018 semester UT students only.
If any student planning to tryout has a video, please send to Kelly Gallagher.
