Spartan Men Win Team Title at Florida Runners Invite

LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s cross country team sent its B team to the Florida Runners Invitational and came away with a first-place finish.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Schaeffer paced the Spartans for the first time of his career.
- The top-10 finish for a first for each of the Spartan top-five.
- A total of three teams competed.
- Among the Sunshine State Conference schools competing were UT and Rollins College.
- Tampa entered a total of 10 runners in the men’s race.
- Sean Knapp (12th), Noah Elliott (17th), James Dooley (18th) and Triston Vaira (20th) each finished in the top-20.
