Local Home Care Agencies Team Up To Throw Gas Party for 150+ Employees

Home Helpers Home Care agencies in the Tampa Bay Area support their workers by providing relief while gas prices are high.
Tampa Bay Area – Four Home Helpers Home Care agencies in the Tampa Bay area have teamed up to offer some much-needed relief to their caregivers amid the high gas prices that surged recently to almost $5 per gallon. Their solution: A “Gas Party” event to be held at several gas stations across the Tampa Bay area.
The agencies have planned the Gas Party in coordination with multiple local gas stations. Pumps have been reserved during specific times to allow for a smooth event. The gas stations support the event with free soft drinks and other refreshments for participating staff.
The following is a statement from the four Home Helpers franchisees involved in the effort:
“With our ‘Appreciation Miles Project,’ our goal is to provide gas for 150+ employees of local Home Helpers agencies across the Tampa Bay area. We want to show them how much we truly appreciate them and how much they mean to us, our agencies, and our communities. When each caregiver arrives at the gas party, all we want them to do is relax. Agency owners will personally pump the gas while each caregiver can go inside to get a free drink, other refreshments, and some relief from the heat. One thing that we have always been proud of as Home Helpers Home Care franchisees in the Tampa Bay area is our ability to collaborate and impact the lives of many.”
The gas parties are scheduled for Friday, July 8, 2022, at the following gas stations in the bay area:
- Home Helpers of Bradenton: Wawa, 2509 Cortez Rd W, Bradenton, FL 34207, 12:30pm to 2:30pm
- Home Helpers of Clearwater: Speedway, 38611 US Hwy 19 N, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689, 2pm to 4pm
- Home Helpers of Tampa Bay: TBD
- Home Helpers of West Saint Petersburg: Wawa, 6200 34th St N, Pinellas Park, FL, 33781, 12:30pm to 2:30pm
