Ashton Pienaar offers a One-of-a-Kind South African Experience Complete with Safaris, Shark Diving, Wine Tours and More

(Tampa Bay, FLA- March 2nd, 2020)- Reality television personality, Ashton Pienaar is partnering with The Travel Alliance to give fans the opportunity of a lifetime to experience his home country of South Africa this April 13th – 24th. Over the course of 12 days, 8 selected people will journey from Livingstone in Zambia, South Africa to Cape Town experiencing all the Country has to offer from island hopping, game drives in the Chobe National Game Park in Botswana, boat cruise Safari trips on famous rivers, fishing and bird watching explorations, local luxuries and breweries, leisure activities and more! 

Day 1: LivingStone to Otter’s Island Camp- Guests will meet and greet at Livingstone Airport where they will be privately transferred to Otter’s, Katamborra System. From there they will arrive in the quaint fishing village of Maluka to meet locals and children before departing across the main Zambezi channel to Otter’s Island Camp. Guests can enjoy swimming, cocktails, and more at the mighty Zambezi River before dinnertime.

Day 2: Exploration of Katamborra System- The second morning will be spent on the water, bird watching and fishing while island hopping to explore the surrounding islands. In the afternoon, explorers will drift down the system through tiny jungle lanes and beautiful rapids and running waters, taking in the breath-taking scenery. Before they enjoy dinner on the beach, the group will take a leisurely walk through this Maluka Village to meet locals at the town bar for a local brew called the Chibuku.

Day 3: After breakfast, the group will depart to a transfer boat to Chobe, Botswana to meet their safari company. This day will be the first official safari day, which consists of a 3 hour boat cruise along the Chobe River where they can safely view an abundance of birdlife, herds of elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. This boat cruise will be followed by a safari vehicle trip to view even more breath-taking wildlife.

Day 4: Bovu Island Party and Livingstone Town- After a morning of eating and leisure activities, guests will depart from the main land to a neighboring island system for exciting beach activities from volleyball to football before heading back to Otter’s. The evening will consist of pool party fun at Jolly Boys Backpackers before continuing the party at dinner either on the beach or in the local town.

Day 5: Livingstone Activities or Leisure Activities- On the 5th day guests have a choice to indulge in a similar itinerary to Day 2 relaxation or to go on an offered adventure from white water rafting, bungy jumping and more!

Day 6: Victoria Falls Day Trip & Victoria Falls River- Guests can choose between relaxing at the camp for the day or departing for an hour long tour of the Victoria Falls. In addition the the tour lunch will be at the historic Victoria Falls Hotel with a walking tour of the property.

Day 7: Day 7 holds an adventure within an adventure as guests take a flight from Livingstone to Cape Town, South Africa. The flight leaves in the morning to the Raddison Red Hotel where they will spend the day taking in the scenery.

Day 8: A leisurely morning is followed by a day of epic adventure. Guests will transfer to the iconic Table Mountain to depart on their Mountain climbing journey. Guests will take in the views and have lunch at the top of this mountain after their hike up before taking a cable car back down to the bottom. The evening will be spent unwinding before an even bigger adventure on the following day.

Day 9- Great White Shark Diving Experience- The group will travel on the road to Gansbaai, home to one of the largest populations of Great White Sharks on the planet. After a shark briefing and a light lunch, they will depart onto the shark boat out to Dyer Island to the most primary viewing spots to begin their shark diving experience. 

Day 10- Wineland Tour and Experiences- After an action-packed few days the group gets to have a relaxing day touring the winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschoek. This will take place during the day before heading back to Cape Town for a night out at trendy dinner and drink venues in town.

Day 11 & 12- Leisure Day in Cape Town- The final days are more optional adventure days. Guests can choose to relax in Cape Town, or visit some of the museums, beaches and more. This is the final days guests have to experience all that South Africa has to offer before heading to their homes.
