Belle of the Ball Gives Out 7,000th Dress!!!!
(Saturday March 7, 2020 Clearwater FL) Belle
of the Ball Project, the charity that provides homecoming and prom dresses to
high school students, passed the 7,000 level in dresses given out since its
founding by Susan Schwartz of Dunedin in 2003. The charity recognized the event
Saturday March 7, at its Clearwater Boutique at 1210 Holt Avenue. Students
Madison Johnson, Sareena Greene, Nicole Jimenez, who arrived together, were jointly
proclaimed the 7,000th recipient. They presented Susan Schwartz, CEO and
Founder of Belle of the Ball with cards, flowers and a gift. A cake was served
to the girls` party and to all volunteers present in celebration of the
milestone. The three students will attend the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic
High School
prom in Spring
Hill, Fl. later this fall. All three received their dream dress earlier from
Belle of the Ball.

Belle of the Ball
will provide free prom dresses to in-need high school girls on three more
Saturdays this spring, starting Saturday March 28, 2020, from 10am to 2pm, at
its boutique at 1210 Holt Avenue, Clearwater. It will also provide dresses on
Saturday April 4th and Saturday April 18thThe 5,000 sq. ft. permanent Belle of
the Ball boutique is a beautiful store-like setting, with over 3,000 dresses in
inventory.
The charity, now
in its second decade of serving girls, welcomes all financially needy girls to
get a dress regardless of where they live.
Dresses are
available to all in-need, high school girls for their high school dances (prom,
homecoming, military ball ). We respect the honor system. No referral letter is
necessary. No appointment needed. A $1 to $5 donation is requested but not required.
Dresses are for high school dances only!!
Donations of
dresses and accessories can also be made at the site, dates/times listed above.
Large sized dresses are the biggest need (size 18-26) For 40 other convenient year-round
