What are the Basic Pool Equipment Essential for Your Swimming Pool?
[ad_1]
After a pretty stressful day, your swimming pool can be your best companion; a place to relax and just chill out.
But then, leaving it unattended to would end up making it an eyesore.
A daily routine of cleaning your swimming pool would go a long way in preserving the beauty that attracted you to it in the first instance. There are dozens of pool equipment to choose from; some are essential; others are plain luxury. Here, we have compiled the ones you would need:
Telescopic Pole
Well, you can compare this to the bullet in a man’s gun. Why? Because you can’t do anything without it: brushing, cleaning, skimming… Just as the name implies, it can either shrink or extend, promoting flexibility during usage.
However, make sure you get a good one: one with thick tubing, high quality aluminum, assured durability and at least with a 15ft length.
Skimmer Net
It’s not a crime to have fun, even though that means leaving candy wrappers and plastic cups floating on your pool. That’s where the skimmer net comes in.
As the net sweeps across the water, it scoops everything along its way- ranging from leaves to little nylons. With a space allocated for attachment to a telescopic pole, there is no need to be worried about how far it could reach (I mean the center of your pool isn’t left out).
They come in two different varieties: flat skimmers and bag skimmers. So, pick your taste.
Vacuum Pool Cleaner
This does most of the major cleaning in your pool. It is divided into 3 major compartments: the vacuum hose, the vacuum head and telescopic pole (remember what I told you about it).
Just like the skimmer, the vacuum head attaches to the telescopic pole. It does most of the actual cleaning. The vacuum hose is a simple, but essential tool too. In fact, without it, the vacuum cannot work. it supplies the vacuum head with enough suction pressure required to swallow up debris. It is a flexible and could up to 30ft long (the recommended length for your pool).
Your vacuum cleaner should also be able to take care of your pool floor. There are not too many pool cleaners that can do this effectively. This is part of the reason I chose the Turbo T by Aquabot while I was scouting for a pool cleaner. The bot does this via an optimized route.
Pool Filters
With the use of a vacuum cleaner, it is impossible to make your pool’s water totally clean. Even after removing the visible debris, there are invisible contaminants and microorganisms which would be left unattended to. so, get a pool filter.
We all know what a pool filter does: purify your water. With a pool filter, you can remove all manner of contaminants; whether it be solid or liquid.
Pool Leveler
Boom…the sound when you do an amazing flip into the pool, with the pool’s water splashing into the air. Surely, the water level would decrease.
Actually, it is impossible to avoid loss of water by your pool. Even if you don’t do these flips, there could be small leaks in your pipes. If there are no leaks, you cannot stop evaporation.
So, to save the stress of refilling the pool every time, get an automatic pool leveller. It gets connected to your garden hose and hangs at the edge of your pool. With the aid of an automatic sensor, it fills your pool once a drop beyond the pool’s threshold level is detected.
