UT Singles Play Lifts Spartans Past PBA
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa tennis team rallied to a Sunshine State Conference road victory over No. 47 Palm Beach Atlantic University.

All-time Series: The all-time series is now knotted at 8-8 as the Spartans have taken two straight.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- PBA took two of the three doubles contests for the point.
- The UT doubles win came at two with a 6-4 victory from the duo of Corbin Dorsey and Maddie Stephens.
- The Spartans won four of the six singles matches to take the win.
- Lilley Nice broke a 3-3 tie as her win at three singles sealed the Spartan win.
- UT also had singles wins from Dorsey at two, Caroline Lozo at four and Stephens at five.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Maddie Stephens is fourth all-time with 43 career singles victories. Next on the list is Kelsey Matthews with 45 wins.
- Lilley Nice is also in the top-10 with 37 career singles victories.
- Stephens is third in UT history with 44 doubles wins while Nice is seventh at 35.

The Spartans conclude the weekend road trip with a match at No. 2 Barry on Sunday at 11 a.m.
