SARASOTA, Fla. (Oct. 04, 2019) – Issues of poverty and homelessness capture headlines regularly. Join the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee on Tuesday, Oct. 15, as it partners with local community organizations to shine a light on programs that address housing and food insecurity.
The 2019 Fall Resources Fair will take place at USFSM’s Selby Auditorium, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, from noon to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Learn about community groups making a difference to students, senior citizens and young families across Sarasota and Manatee counties. Sponsors include the USFSM Student Government Association, Office of Military and Veterans Success and the Food and Housing Insecurity Committee.
