Tampa, Fla.
– The University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) will hold its

on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the University Area Community Center
at 14013 N. 22nd

Specifically, proceeds from the 2019 Gala will benefit the University
Area CDC’s Attainable Housing initiatives.
“We strongly believe that everyone deserves
to have a place that they call home and by working together we can rise to the
challenge of solving our attainable housing crisis by partnering and leveraging
our resources,” said University Area CDC CEO Sarah Combs. “The University Area
CDC is taking an innovative approach to attainable housing and creating unique
models that will work for the residents that live in the University Area. We
are building single family housing, modular housing, multi-family housing,
townhomes and are looking outside of the box to understand what it takes to
make a resident a home owner and going the extra mile to make it happen.”
