Weekly interactive series to run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays |
March 27, 2020 [St. Petersburg, FL] — The Florida Holocaust Museum (The FHM) is pleased to announce the launch of its new interactive weekly educational series. This series will run on The FHM’s official Facebook page facebook.com/TheFHM at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is an interactive series and The FHM is encouraging the community to engage with the Museum online and send in questions. Every Tuesday is “Testimony Tuesday” at 1:00 p.m. and The FHM will share a video testimony from a Holocaust Survivor or a Second Generation Survivor. From 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., the Holocaust Survivor or Second Generation will be readily available to answer questions submitted through The FHM’s Facebook page and to interact with the community in real time. Every Wednesday is “Artifact Wednesday” at 1:00 p.m. and The FHM will highlight a different artifact from the Museum’s collection. From 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., The FHM’s Curator or Exhibitions and Collections or The FHM’s Registrar and Exhibitions Manager will be readily available to answer questions submitted through The FHM’s Facebook page and to interact with the community in real time. Every Thursday is “Lesson Thursday” at 1:00 p.m. and The FHM will post a video from the Museum’s Education team, with various lessons and educational themes, including resources and topics that can be used in a virtual classroom. From 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., a Museum Educator will be readily available to answer questions submitted through The FHM’s Facebook page and to interact with the community in real time. |
