TAMPA, Fla. – University of Tampa tennis coach Al DuFaux has announced the signing of Ekaterina Grib, who will transfer to UT from Iowa State University with three years of eligibility remaining.

A native of Minsk, Belarus, Grib attended School No. 4 prior to enrolling at ISU in 2018. She was also part of the Belarus National Training Academy, where she was second at the Championship of the Republic of Belarus.

Playing as a true freshman at Iowa State in 2019, Grib recently completed the season with a 10-6 overall record in singles and was 10-7 at doubles. She played number two and three singles for the Cyclones while completing the season on the top doubles team.

Grib will enroll at UT in the fall of 2019 and gain immediate eligibility to compete for the Spartans.
