TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s and women’s swimming teams are set to welcome Sunshine State Conference opponent Saint Leo University in another matchup featuring nationally-ranked teams.

Men’s Matchup: No. 12 Tampa Spartans vs. No. 8 Saint Leo Lions

Women’s Matchup: No. 5 Tampa Spartans vs. No. 22 Saint Leo Lions

Date/Time: Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.

Location: UT Aquatics Center || 507 UT University Drive || North Boulevard, Tampa, Fla. 33606

Last Time Out: UT’s women picked up a 171-84 win over No. 17 Florida Southern on October 26. In the same meet, the No. 7 Mocs men’s team defeated the Spartans by a score of 148-114.

About the Spartans: Hana van Loock led the Spartans over Florida Southern, winning the 200 Free in 1:54.35 and the 100 Free in 52.14. She also won a pair of relays in the 400 Medley and 400 Free. On the men’s side, Brian Valedon won the 200 Fly in 1:52.98 and the 500 Free with a time of 4:43.15.

About the Lions: On the men’s side, Saint Leo has defeated Florida Tech, Florida Southern and Rollins while the women are also perfect with triumphs over Lynn, Florida Tech, Florida Southern and Rollins.
