TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s soccer program has announced the annual Tom Fitzgerald Festival, which will feature the host Spartans against the University of South Florida at UT’s Pepin Stadium on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 17. All proceeds go to the Tom Fitzgerald Scholarship Endowment. Pepin Stadium is located at 417 North Boulevard, Tampa FL 33606. Tickets may also be purchased early at the University of Tampa’s Martinez Center from 9:30 a.m., to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets will not be sold on campus Friday, March 15 due to Spring Break.

Nearly 15 years ago, our community lost one of the greatest coaches and soccer ambassadors of the game, C=coach Tom Fitzgerald. The Soccer program at the University of Tampa created the Tom Fitzgerald Men’s Soccer Endowment with the goal to one day be able to provide a scholarship opportunity for a Florida based player in Coach Fitz’s name. The endowment is continuing to grow and each year we look to have a featured game where all proceeds from the match are put to the Fitz Endowment. Coach Fitzgerald had strong ties to the Tampa Bay area, playing at USF and then coaching at UT. To have both programs represented in this game is something we know Coach Fitz will be smiling upon.

Some have inquired about donations by credit card or using VENMO. UT does accept VENMO (see below) but they do not have anything set up with PayPal. You can use a credit card online and it is a fairly easy process that takes 2-3 minutes.  See the info below.
