HOW IT HAPPENED:
TOP 5th: The Sharks worked the bases loaded on a single and two hit-by-pitches. Kayla Kight stepped to the plate and cleared the bases with a three-run double. Kight would be stuck in a run-down, but scored after an error was charged to Miner.
BOT 5th: Tampa responded with singles from Lauren Pascoe and Stephanie Balmer, followed up by a Cristina Clauberg RBI single. With two outs, Miner cut the lead in half when she reached base on an error by the second-basemen as Balmer scored from second base on the play.
BOT 6th: A four-run sixth inning sparked the UT comeback. Emalee Jansen led off the inning with a single up the middle and recorded her third stolen base of the year. Pasoce singled, and Lexie Chevalier drove a pitch the opposite way to score Jansen. On a wild pitch, Pascoe scored and the go-ahead run, Chevalier, advanced to third. Clauberg continued her career-day with an RBI base-knock to give Tampa a lead with three outs remaining. Sam Worrell sent a pop-up a mile high and reached base after the pitcher dropped the fly ball, but it also provided Tampa with a two-run lead as Clauberg came around to score.
