Tampa Dominates Florida Tech in SSC Meeting
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Tampa women’s soccer team defeated Sunshine State Conference opponent Florida Tech.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
1st Half | (18′) Forward Elena Barr netted her fourth goal of the season to give the Spartans an early lead. (33′) A cross into the box by Moeko Morse was finished by senior Ashley Loeza for her third of the season. || Tampa, 2-0
2nd Half | (54′) Tampa’s offense stayed hot as Elena Barr scored her second goal of the game to give the Spartans a commanding lead. (72′) Freshman Jalyssa Richardson scored her fourth goal of the season as she gave the Spartans a 4-0 lead late in the second half. || Tampa 4-0
Inside the Stats:
- Elena Barr scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season.
- Returning to goal was Megan Bromwell as the junior had two saves in her fourth shutout of the season.
- Barr and Lisa Caprara each tallied six shots to lead all Spartans.
- The Spartans offense had a total of 29 shots, 9 of which were on goal.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will return home on Wednesday, November 6th to defend their home field as they are set to face off against conference opponent Florida Southern in their last regular-season game of the season. Kick-off will be at 7 p.m.
