Tampa Cards Eighth-Place Finish at SLU Invite
DADE CITY, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s golf team competed at the Saint Leo Invitational, finishing eighth overall.

- Montagnino was the top golfer for UT for the first time this season.
- A third-round 69 by Montagnino marked the top round for all Spartans.
- UT entered four individuals, including Patrick Montagnino (233), Unai Beitia (233), Jake Muehlschlegel (240) and Spencer Olson (240).
- This was the collegiate debut for Muehlschlegel.
- A total of 12 teams competed.
- The individual champion was Nova Southeastern’s Juan Jose Guerra with a 207.
- Joining UT from the Sunshine State Conference was Nova Southeastern (2), Saint Leo (7), Eckerd (10) and Palm Beach Atlantic (11).
