Tampa Bay Tech appoints Jill St. Thomas as Executive Director
Tampa Bay, FL. (Dec 16, 2019) – Tampa Bay Tech announced today that their board of directors has appointed Jill St. Thomas as Executive Director. St. Thomas has been serving as co-Executive Director and Chief Revenue Officer for the past two years and will now assume day to day leadership of the organization. St. Thomas succeeds Daniel James Scott, who served as co-Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities.

Our brand has evolved throughout the decades, however, our values, mission and role in the community has never been clearer or stronger.”
Established in 2000, Tampa Bay Tech (formerly known as the Tampa Bay Technology Forum) represents a community of 57,000+ technology workers, making it one of the top 25 largest tech hubs in North America. Tampa Bay Tech’s strategy is to build the world’s most radically connected tech hub.

St. Thomas served as the Director of Membership for the organization from 2008-2011, and returned in 2016 as Director of Partnerships and Engagement. In her recent role she helped lead the organization’s growth through business development; establishing and fostering memberships and partnerships, as well as executing strategic and branding efforts.
With over 120 companies representing thousands of tech employees – as well as thousands of students within the area’s colleges and universities – Tampa Bay Tech provides programming and initiatives to connect the community, provides development opportunities, and supports Tampa Bay’s growing workforce.
