OTHER NOTABLES:

• Montagnino was the top Spartan for the third straight tournament.
• In the final round, Montagnino carded a UT-best round of 73 for the event.
• Wills was the lone Spartan to shoot under 80 in all three rounds.
• Head coach Gary Hilton did not register any individuals.
• A total of 14 teams competed.
• Other Sunshine State Conference teams included Embry-Riddle (2nd) and Florida Tech, though the latter did not enter as a team.
• Bethune-Cookman’s Marcus Sundlof was the top individual with a 209. His -7 was four strokes ahead of the competition.

Tampa returns to action on February 10-11 at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, which will be played at St. John’s Golf Course in St. Augustine, Fla.
