HONOLULU, Hawaii – The University of Tampa tennis team continued its winning stint with a blanking of Chaminade University while playing in Hawaii.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• UT took all three doubles contests along with each of the six singles events.
• Both the one and three doubles teams took 6-0 wins, coming from the duos of Caroline Lozo and Dakota Busch and Amanda Baxter and Kayla Heller.
• The two doubles team of Vanina Iordanova and Nicoline Palmgren played to a 6-4 win.
• Iordanova won the number-one singles match by scores of 6-2, 6-1.
• The two match was won by Corbin Dorsey by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
• Lilley Nice was victorious at the three spot by straight set scores of 6-2, 6-0.
• Maddie Stephens also won at her number-four spot, 6-2, 6-1.
• A straight set 6-0, 6-0 win came from Busch at five.
• The number-six singles event went to Giulia Tatini by scores of 6-0, 6-0.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

• Stephens ranks fifth all-time with 38 career singles wins as she now needs one wins to match Jenelle Morgan for fourth.
• Lilley Nice is also in the top-10 with 33 career singles victories.
• Stephens is fourth in UT history with 38 doubles wins while Nice is seventh at 32.

Tampa will face Holy Names University on Friday in Oakland, Calif., at 6 p.m., before returning home.
