TAMPA, Fla. – Heading into the weekend, for two weeks in a row, the University of Tampa Beach Volleyball program is receiving votes in the AVCA coaches poll. After concluding the Florida Atlantic Beach Bash, the Spartans sit with an overall record of 8-7. 

On Friday, the sandy Spartans were able to defeat the University of North Alabama Lions 3-2.  Then on Saturday, the Spartans fell to two nationally ranked opponents, the #8 Florida International University Panthers, and the #16 Florida Atlantic University Owls.

UP NEXT:
 The Spartans will travel to Atlanta, Georgia March 29-30^thto compete in the Georgia State Diggin’ Duals. On Friday, Tampa will open the tournament with a 10:00 a.m. dual against the University of North Carolina – Wilmington Seahawks, followed by a 4:00 p.m. dual against the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers. Then on Saturday, Tampa will open with an 8:00 a.m. dual against the College of Charleston. Finally, the Spartans will close out the weekend against the Georgia State Panthers at 4:00 p.m.
