Spartans Claim No. 8 in the Final USILA Coaches Poll
TAMPA, Fla. – In the final USILA DII coaches poll, as announced by the association, Monday, UT ends the year No. 8. Tampa climbs the poll six spots from the last regular season coaches poll that ranked the Spartans No. 14.
Back-to-back National Champions, the Merrimack Warriors rightfully sit at the top of the poll. Over the weekend, the Warriors defeated the Limestone College Saints in the National Championship by a final score of 16-8. Limestone sits No. 2 in the final poll. Rounding out the top five is LeMoyne at No. 3, and both Adelphi and Indianapolis are tied at No. 4. The Sunshine State Conference is represented in the poll by the No. 8 Spartans and the No. 19 Lynn Fighting Knights. Saint Leo University and Rollins College are two SSC institutions receiving votes.
