[ad_1]

Southeastern Guide Dogs will be in the spotlight during the month of February as the Charity of the Month at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office. Southeastern Guide Dogs develops partnerships between people and dogs. They train dogs for people who are blind and for veterans with post-traumatic stress syndrome and other disabilities. Southeastern Guide Dogs does not receive any government funding nor do they charge for their services.

“Thank you for investing in our mission and all that you are doing to make this fundraiser a success,” comments Caellan Curtis, Southeastern Guide Dog’s Associate Director – Philanthropy. “We are thankful for the opportunity to share our mission.”

“Southeastern Guide Dogs not only provides all the training needed by both the dogs and the recipients alike, they provide lifelong veterinary services for the dogs,” remarks Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “We are pleased to help this organization, which relies solely on donations from the public, to help veterans and individuals with visual impairments, receive a well-trained service dog to help meet their specific needs.”

The Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office supports local charitable organizations that assist residents of Pasco County throughout the entire year. For more information about the charitable giving programs and other services at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office please visit www.pascotaxes.com or call Greg Giordano, Assistant Tax Collector for Communications & Special Projects at 727-847-8179.
