TAMPA, Fla.- The Sunshine State Conference announced its men’s lacrosse player of the week winners, tabbing University of Tampa’s Ross Dickerson as the Specialist Player of the Week. This marks the first time this season that Dickerson has received this honor.

Dickerson earns Specialist Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career after his performance in the faceoff x against No. 10 Belmont Abbey College. The junior won 19-of-24 faceoffs at Tampa fell (13-9) to Belmont Abbey College. The Berlin, Maryland native also had ten ground balls and one goal for the Spartans.

Sunshine State Conference Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of January 23 – February 3, 2019. Athletes are nominated by Sports Information Directors of member institutions.
