Tampa,
FL – How
can you reduce stress and support a unique environment supporting children in
long-term foster care? Sign up for a Goat Yoga Session at the Fall Wellness and
Advocacy Festival! The Festival benefits and takes place at New Life Village, a
community striving to reduce the number of children in long term foster care.
It combines housing for foster-adoptive and kinship families of these children,
as well as Seniors who serve as surrogate grandparents. The event will take
place at the 4926 Venice Lake Avenue in Tampa on Sat., November 2^nd,
from 11am – 2pm. 

Even science agrees that animals can make a difference in
our well-being.  Studies show interacting with
animals—and sometimes even just watching them—lowers blood pressure and
cholesterol levels; reduces anxiety and depression; and improves sleeping
habits, memory and mobility. The Festival will include a Goat Yoga session at
11:30am and 12:30pm, with 40 spots available in each. Tickets are $45 and 40% of
sales will benefit New Life Village Charity (www.newlifevillage.org).
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Classes are for all skill levels.

Free activities also included at the Festival are Kids Yoga,
Goat petting, Facepainting, Food Trucks, and a Pie Tasting contest. For more

Center, Children’s Home Network, Pose by Pose Yoga, Hillsborough County Head

Celebrate Birthdays, and Royal Family Kid’s Camp.

The mission of New Life Village is to provide a
supportive environment, within a multigenerational community, for children in
need of a safe and stable family experience. The village allows foster care
children to heal from their trauma(s) in a supportive environment, and is the
