The Light Chasers: Plein Air Painters of the Sun Coast hosts a weekend of Shows in January of 2020.

Light Chasers will kick off with the Paint Sarasota Paint Out! This is the largest Paint out in Florida with nearly 100 artists painting in Sarasota County.  Artists Paint at places like Ringling, Spanish Point, Marie Selby, Phillippi Estate Park and Myakka.  A schedule will be available on lightchasersinc.com.

Lightchaser’s Show Weekend kicks off at Edson Keith Mansion at Phillippi Estate Park on January 24^th,  Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm with the 9^th AnnualMembers Show and Featured Artists of the Light Chasers Show.  Prizes for both shows are awarded at 7pm.

On Saturday evening, January 25^th from 5pm to 8pm see wonderful landscapes awarded at 7pm. Paintings , refreshments, music and beautiful décor make special evenings.

On Sunday, January 26^th, you can have a last look and chance to choose and buy one of over 200 paintings exhibited at the Edson Keith Mansion.

Donations at the door and 30% of all sales go to the restoration of Edson Keith Farmhouse.

Light Chasers will top off their events with a Quick Draw, February 12^th, with nearly 100 artists painting throughout Phillippi Estate Park.  Judging, prizes and sales are at the Farmer’s Market.  Artists paint 9am to 11am and paintings

are  available 11am to 2pm.  This is our 6^th year and it is
often the biggest day at the market! Artists paint with a red balloon, making a
picture perfect view of the park.

Last year hundreds of people came to view our landscape paintings at the Quick Draw,  the Paint Sarasota Paint Out and the Show Weekend at the Edson Keith Mansion.  Come Meet the Artists!
