Oak Hill Hospital Welcomes Malieri Colon-Rivera, MD, FACOG, to Its Medical Staff
Spring Hill, Florida (November 26, 2019) – Oak Hill Hospital welcomes Malieri Colon-Rivera, MD, FACOG (Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology), to its medical staff. Dr. Colon-Rivera will practice at Suncoast/OBGYN at 4003 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, Florida 34609. Call 352-263-2600 to schedule an appointment.
Dr. Colon-Rivera comes to Suncoast/OBGYN from Obstetrics & Gynecology of Trinity in Trinity, Florida. She completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus School of Medicine in San Juan, where she was chosen Academic Chief Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology from July 2012 to June 2013. Dr. Colon-Rivera also completed a straight internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus School of Medicine, and a Medical Social Service Program at Dr. Isaac Gonzalez Martinez Hospital & Oncology Center in Puerto Rico. She received her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico followed by a medical internship program approved by Universidad Autonoma. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree with a major in biology from Universidad Metropolitana in San Juan.
Dr. Colon-Rivera is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the Florida Medical Association as well as Colegio de Medicos de Puerto Rico the Puerto Rico Medical Association.
Dr. Colon-Rivera is fluent in both Spanish and English.
