Oak Hill Hospital Continues to Recognize February as Heart Month with “Matters of the Heart: Coronary Artery Disease”

Spring Hill, Florida (February 11, 2020) – Oak Hill Hospital continues to recognize February as Heart Month by presenting “Matters of the Heart: Coronary Artery Disease” on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Silverthorn Country Club, 4550 Golf Club Lane, Spring Hill, Florida 34609. The seminar will be presented by Georges Joseph, MD, and Michael Moore, DO.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States. Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common type of heart disease and according to the Center for Disease Control, about 18.2 million adults ages 20 and older have CAD. Dr. Joseph and Dr. Moore will discuss prevention of heart disease as well as treatments available. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
