Sammy Mueller has been named Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week. The senior setter earned this award after leading Tampa to a perfect 2-0 weekend.

During the week, Tampa defeated Florida Tech and Embry-Riddle. In those two games, Mueller tallied a total of 75 assists and 32 digs. She also swung at a .571 percentage for the week.

Against Florida Tech the senior dished out 37 assists and collected 19 digs. In the victory over first-place Embry-Riddle, Mueller had 38 assists and picked up 13 digs.

Mueller and the Spartans will be back in action this weekend as they will play in the GSC/SSC Crossover. On Friday, UT will face off against West Georgia and then on Saturday Tampa will play a pair of games against Auburn-Montgomery and Alabama-Huntsville.
