Kimberly Early, James Scott Payne and Patricia Entsminger join the Neuro Challenge Board of Directors

Kimberly Early and James Scott Payne of St. Petersburg and Patricia Entsminger of Sarasota have joined the Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s Board of Directors. 

Kimberly Early has a deep history of community involvement and asset development work in Tampa Bay with more than 30 years of financial experience in investment management, IRS administration and estate settlement. She is a Senior Vice President and a founding Principal at Sabal Trust Company, the largest independent trust company in Florida. Early is an alumnus of the Northwestern Graduate Trust School and the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.  Her community work includes serving as the President of the Home and School Association, serving on the board of trustees for CASA and the Answered Prayers Project. She is currently a Eucharistic minister. As a primary caregiver for her father who lived for 22 years with Parkinson’s, Early is passionate about making life better for those with the disease.    133 words

Scott Payne, a resident of St. Petersburg, has spent over 50 years working at Icare Industries, founded by his father in 1968. Scott and his brother Skip took over the company upon their father’s passing. In 2012, Icare was ranked as the fifth largest independently owned manufacturer of prescription eyewear and related products in the US by Vision Monday. Payne’s deep commitment to community service includes volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America since 1990 in various capacities within the Southern Region, Greater Tampa Bay Area Council and the West Central Florida Council.  After being diagnosed in 2014 with Parkinson’s, Payne turned his efforts to the Parkinson’s community. *Payne has undertaken various volunteer roles for the Parkinson’s Foundation, including Moving Day Tampa Bay, an annual fundraising event with thousands of participants. Payne joined the Neuro Challenge Board of Directors to support their commitment to bring more resources to the Parkinson’s communities.  151 words.  

Patricia Entsminger works with individual and business clients providing comprehensive tax, outsourced accounting and consulting services.  She combines her tax, audit, and CFO knowledge to provide individuals and organizations with an all-inclusive view from planning to compliance.  Ms. Entsminger joined Kerkering Barberio in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2006. Her memberships in professional organizations include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Tampa Bay Chapter – Member of Board of Directors, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Florida West Coast Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Leadership Sarasota – Alumni, Southwest Chapter of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting and a Master’s in Accounting. She is an alumnus of Leadership Florida. 139 words
