Kew to Play in MLL Playoffs
DENVER, Colo. – Former University of Tampa men’s lacrosse player Andrew Kew will be participating in the Major League Lacrosse playoffs this weekend. Kew and the Chesapeake Bayhawks will be facing off against the Atlanta Blaze in the semi-final rounds of the MLL playoffs. The Bayhawks will be the top seed in the playoffs after finishing the regular season with the league’s best record.
The Bayhawks and the Blaze will face off on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the University of Denver. The semi-final rounds will be broadcasted on ESPNEWS. During the regular season, Chesapeake won the series 2-1, with their last meeting ending in a 16-13 victory over Atlanta.
Kew had 21 goals during his rookie year and finished with 28 points on the year. Kew had three goals in a game against Dallas Rattlers, which was a season-high.
If the Bayhawks win, they will face off against the winner against the Denver Outlaws and the Boston Cannons. The MLL Championship game will be broadcasted on Sunday. The game will be at 1:00 p.m. EST and fans will be able to watch on ESPN2.
