LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Tampa outside hitter Katie McKiel has been named an AVCA All-American. The Colorado Springs, Colorado native earned a spot on the second-team. This is the second consecutive year McKiel has earned All-America honors, as she earned a spot on the first-team last year. 

McKiel led the Spartans this year as she recorded a team-high 463 kills and added 297 digs, which was second on the team. McKiel was also recently named first-team All-South Region. 

This is the 36^th All-American honor for the University of Tampa, which are the most in NCAA Division II.
