Hoskinson named Team Tony Cancer Foundation board chair
SARASOTA, Fla. – Kristi Hoskinson, marketing and community relations consultant for FCCI Insurance Group, was recently appointed board chair of the Team Tony Cancer Foundation, a Sarasota-based nonprofit organization that provides free peer-to-peer cancer support and resources to cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers in the local community.
During her 3-year term, Hoskinson joins the established 11-member board and will serve as an advocate for the organization throughout the community, exercising fiduciary oversight and actively participating in the nonprofit’s long-range and strategic planning. Hoskinson will lead the Team Tony Cancer Foundation along with fellow board members, including Shawn Carroll, Tom Cramer, Arthur Day, Lori Kayser, Tony McEachern, David Morse, Scott Neary, Dr. Kyle Ruffing, John Shea, Bill Spitler and Linda Vernon.
Hoskinson focuses on the customer experience and community relations in her marketing role for the Sarasota-based commercial property and casualty insurance company. She possesses an extensive background in sales, human resources, consulting and leadership development. She also holds a senior certified professional designation from the Society of Human Resource Management.

In addition to her new role, she currently serves as a board member for CareerSource Suncoast and Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. The Ottawa, Canada native also works with female high school athletes as a performance coach.
Team Tony Cancer Foundation opened its new headquarters located at 3562 S. Osprey Ave. in Sarasota in March 2019. Called the Cancer Connection Center (C3), the coffee-shop-style concept provides a safe, warm, supportive and welcoming environment designed to deliver peer-to-peer support, create a sense of belonging and provide free resources and educational opportunities to enhance the well-being of those impacted by cancer.
