MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Tampa men’s golf team opened its spring slate with a fourth-place team finish at the Titan Winter Invitational.

- This marks the second time of 2018-19 where Celestino was the top Spartan golfer.
- An opening round 69 by Celestino went down as the top round for a Spartan and lone sub-70 round.
- Celestino finished in the top-10 for the second time this season after placing ninth at the Miami Intercollegiate.
- The lone individual for Rick Christie‘s Spartans was Patrick Montagnino, who finished 51st overall with a three-round score of 235.
- A total of 13 teams competed.
- The individual champion was Central Alabama Community College’s Caleb O’Toole, who shot a 211 to win by two strokes.
- Joining UT from the Sunshine State Conference was Embry-Riddle (9th).
