Fast Wave Communications Establishes 5G Operations in Tampa

Tampa, FL. (February 17, 2020) — 5G cell site design and build company Fast Wave Communications is expanding operations and establishing a new office in Tampa, FL.
The six-year-old Atlanta, GA-based company already has 50 employees and has garnered recognition in the telecommunication industry, winning the Best of Atlanta Awards in Telecommunications and delivering the most defect-free installs in the nation, according to AT&T—both in 2019.
Fast Wave Communications is in the business of wireless construction, cell site design, 5G new site builds, network systems integration, construction and project management. They’ve worked on hundreds of cell sites for AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular. The company employs experienced technicians capable of handling Ericsson, Nokia and lucent equipment, among many others.
With their new corporate office in Tampa Palms, Fast Wave’s Director of Operations Craig Davis anticipates the company will create more than a hundred new jobs in Tampa Bay and surrounding areas by mid-2020.
“We’re currently recruiting tower technicians and drone technicians,” Davis said. The recruiting is all part of his plan to springboard Fast Wave Communications onto the national stage—and beyond: “Our vision is to be the best wireless and communications company in the nation. We’re taking steps now to perform at an international level within the next two years, providing the latest technologies for the leading service providers.”
