Tampa, FL (December 5, 2019) – The Denard Span Foundation will host it’s 3rd Annual Holiday Dinner at George Steinbrenner Field with the Tampa Bay community and present a new car to a single parent family recipient in need of transportation.

Denard Span, former Tampa Bay Rays Outfielder – MLB 10 Year Veteran and founder of the Denard Span Foundation, proudly serves his Tampa Bay community. The Holiday Dinner is one way he gives back to others in need. This years dinner event is on Thursday, December 5th from 7:00pm-9:30pm with an exclusive VIP reception and “Meet & Greet” with Denard Span starting at 6:30pm. The event will showcase new executive Chef of George Steinbrenner Field, Chef Rob Acosta a festive multi course menu, music, guest gifts and a special surprise car ceremony.

The surprise car ceremony will be presented on the field by local partners of the foundation: Ferman of Wesley Chapel and GTE Financial Tampa to a Habitat for Humanity (Pinellas & Pasco) single parent family recipient.

The Tampa community will gather around a long table inside the stadium for dinner and to celebrate a memorable evening full with purpose and impact! 100% of all proceeds raised from this event will directly benefit the Denard Span Foundation mission to support single parent families in need.

The goal is to raise $30,000 to help provide more single parent families with reliable transportation in 2020.
