Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts partners with All Children’s on Special Day

St. Petersburg, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2020) – Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat, from PBS’ popular television show, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, will be making a special visit to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital on January 28 as part of an on-going community outreach program initiated by the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts. These loveable characters from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe will be dropping in to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital at 3:15 p.m. to spread some cheer to Daniel Tiger fans who aren’t able to attend next week’s show in person. 

Amy Miller, President of the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts, is proud to be able to assist with this visit. “We thought it would be wonderful to have these cute characters drop in on their St. Petersburg neighbors and hopefully put a smile on their face.” Daniel Tiger and his friends wil be in town on Tuesday, January 28, as part of their Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live Tour.

The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts mission is to provide access for people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds to experience live theater. Along with “O” the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday, Mom and Dad Tiger and many more, Daniel Tiger will take live audiences on an interactive musical adventure to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, sharing stories of friendship, helping others and celebrating new experiences. This live theatrical production filled with music, dancing, laughter and “grr-ific” surprises will warm the hearts of multiple generations.
