About Abdel K. Jibawi, MD and Mohamad Jibawi, MD
Abdel K. Jibawi, MD, was born in Chicago, Illinois. His undergraduate education was received at Robert Morris University in Aurora, Illinois, and also Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove, Illinois, and Moraine Valley College in Palos Hills, Illinois. He received his medical degree from Saint Matthew University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands. Dr. Jibawi completed residency in family medicine and internship at Manati Medical Center in Manati, Puerto Rico, and joined Access Health Care directly from his residency.
Mohamad Jibawi, MD, also joined Access Health Care immediately after completing his residency in family medicine at LSU Family Medicine Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana. He received his medical degree from Saint Matthew School of Medicine, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He received his undergraduate degree from Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove, Illinois. He was named Intern of the Year at LSU and received the Woman’s Health Award in 2015 from Louisiana State University Science Center.
